Cherryhill Dumpster Day – May 8th, 8am-2pm
We have scheduled a neighborhood clean-up day (aka Dumpster Day) with the city on May 8th, 8am-2pm. Similar to last year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be hosting a Freecycle effort in conjunction with this year’s Dumpster Day. In lieu of that, we encourage Cherryhill residents to use the following resources to upcycle any unwanted items:
- https://nextdoor.com/for_sale_and_free/
- www.trashnothing.com
There will be two dumpsters available (same as last year):
- Located at Cranberry Ave at the corner with Syracuse Drive
- Located in front of 1272 Mandarin Drive
The City of Sunnyvale will remove full dumpsters and replace them with empty ones throughout most of the event. The dumpsters will open at 8:00am and the event shuts down at 2:00pm. We ask residents to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
Items that are not accepted in the dumpsters:
- Electronics
- Batteries
- Fluorescent tubes
- Paints
- Computers
- Chemicals
- Refrigerators
- Fuel or Oil
- Air conditioners
- Business waste
