Cherryhill Neighborhood’s 12th National Night Out event in De Anza Park – Tues., 8/3 @ 6PM

Join us for Cherryhill Neighborhood’s 12th National Night Out event in De Anza Park!

The event will be at the picnic tables in the park, 6:00-8:00pm

Neighborhoods throughout Sunnyvale are joining forces nationwide for National Night Out™ crime and drug prevention event. This is a nationally organized effort designed to help prevent crime by encouraging neighbors to lock their doors and spend the evening with their neighbors.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT™ is designed to:

* Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
* Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
* Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships;
* Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

We’ll be serving cake/dessert, coffee and flavored seltzer water in the park!

We’ll have plates, napkins and cutlery but suggest bringing a plate and fork from home if possible to help minimize waste.

City Council members, police, firemen, motorcycles, and city officials will likely be passing through during the course of the evening. Stop by and say hello.

Please come join us.
